Online Submission Criteria Legal Guidelines

To be considered, you must submit your photos and ‘Why I want to be an Amoize Beauty’ statement online, accept the terms of the Release, be 18 years of age. If under 18 years old, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to submit your photo and essay.

Submit current high-resolution (300 dpi) images, ready for publication (no snapshots). Photos should
be vertical and taken against a plain background. Photos should be alluring, yet must be tasteful and
consistent with AMOIZE standards of excellence. Submissions should include 5 full-body shots and 1
headshot as follows:

3 images (different poses and or outfits, preferably African, no lingerie shots, no swimsuit shots)
2 images in after-five and casual wear
1 image, head to shoulders

All submissions must include your full name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address as
well as photographer’s name, phone number and e-mail address (if applicable). Include your
hometown, occupation, hobbies and interests, and describe why you want to be a AMOIZE Beauty in 100
words or less.

Submissions from individuals under 18 years of age will not be accepted. In jurisdictions where the
age of majority is over 18, you must obtain consent from your parent or legal guardian to submit your
photo and essay. AMOIZE BEAUTY selections and publication decisions will be made at the sole discretion of AMOIZE. Only electronic submissions will be considered.

RELEASE AND CONSENT FOR PUBLICATION

In exchange for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which I hereby acknowledge, by submitting my photo and essay online, I agree to the following:

1. I hereby grant to Amoize Magazine, its affiliates, assigns and licensees the absolute, royalty free,
license and permission to use, reuse, publish, republish, copy, distribute, modify, display and copyright in perpetuity the photograph submitted by me online ("Submission") in response to the request by AMOIZE magazine, in whole or in part, either alone or accompanied by other material, in any manner or form, throughout the universe, for the purpose of editorial, marketing, promotional, publicity, trade, commercial or any other lawful purpose whatsoever, in any media now known or hereafter developed. In connection therewith, I hereby grant AMOIZE the absolute, royalty-free, license and permission to use my
name, voice, likeness and statements.

2. I agree that I will hold AMOIZE harmless for any liability arising from the use of my name, likeness, image, statement or any of the Submission. Further, I hereby release AMOIZE from any claim which I may have or which I think I may have, arising out of the publication and use of any part of my Submission, name, likeness, image or other biographical information.

3. I warrant, represent and agree that: (a) I have full power and authority to enter into this Release and to grant the rights granted in this Release; (b) the exercise of those rights will not violate any law or right of any person or in any way conflict with any existing commitment on my part; (c) no third parties are featured or depicted in my Submission; (d) my Submission does not contain material that violates or infringes another person’s rights, including, but not limited to, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; (e) my Submission does not contain any commercial or corporate advertising (including, without limitation, trademarks, corporate logos, brand names, and slogans), recognizable branded products or commercial artwork; (e) my Submission is original and consists solely of photos or writing created by me; (f) my Submission does not contain material that is false, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, hateful, tortious, threatening, disparaging, harassing, profane, obscene, pornographic, hateful, indecent, inappropriate, trade libelous, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or injurious to any individual, AMOIZE or any third party (as determined in AMOIZE’s sole discretion); (g) my Submission does not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; (h) my Submission does not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in the state where my Submission was created; and (i) my Submission has not been exhibited or displayed publicly through any means previously.

4. I further understand that AMOIZE is under no obligation to publish or otherwise use any part of my Submission.

5. This Release will be governed by and construed in accordance with Texas law. By accepting the terms of this Release through clicking the check box on the AMOIZE Beauty submission form, I submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas for any action arising from or related to this Release.

6. I HAVE READ THE ABOVE RELEASE, PRIOR TO ACCEPTING ITS TERMS VIA CLICKING THE CHECK BOX ON THE AMOIZE BEAUTY SUBMISSION FORM, AND I AM FULLY FAMILIAR WITH ITS CONTENTS. BY PROVIDING MY SUBMISSION TO AMOIZE ONLINE, I UNDERSTAND THAT MY ONLINE SUBMISSION SERVES AS AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THISRELEASE AND THE POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS WEBSITE. I ATTEST THAT I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND THAT I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THIS RELEASE WILL BE BINDING UPON ME AND MY HEIRS, LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSIGNS. IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE THE AGE OF MAJORITY IS OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE, I ATTEST THAT I AM THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF THE INDIVIDUAL SUBMITTING THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND ESSAY AND THAT BY CLICKING ON THE CHECK BOX ON THE AMOIZE BEAUTY SUBMISSION FORM, I CONSENT ON BEHALF OF MY MINOR CHILD AND MYSELF AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THIS RELEASE WILL BE BINDING UPON
ME AND MY MINOR CHILD AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
