The secret is this: the world is waiting on you.
The world is waiting on you to step into your uniqueness. It doesn’t want you to be a carbon copy of someone else. Just you.
God is a creative God. Look at the giraffe with its long sleek neck and lean body, then look at the elephant robust in size with an extended nose, then turn your attention to the small green tree frog that leaps from lily pad to lily pad without sinking into the water. Those are just animals! They are all so different but yet belong to the same family.
What about you? You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are the apple of God’s eyes. No is like you and no one will be like you. The world is composed of uniqueness that tells the story of a Creator with infinite abilities. Able to create you and give you a purpose to be on this earth and make a difference.
The Bible says that he who compares himself with himself is not wise. In other words the person that compares themselves’ to someone else wishing that they were like the other person instead of themselves, is not wise. It brings agony, self-pity and a lack of confidence. Get in the mirror today and speak OUT LOUD everything about yourself that is different…whether you like it or not.
You are who you are and God is satisfied with you. You should be satisfied too. No needs another Paula White, TD Jakes, Jim Rohn, or Les Brown. What the world needs is you and the purpose that is within you. Will you take the time to appreciate yourself and thank God for who He has made you to be?
I hope so because the world is waiting.
