Ambe Tangyie and Jennifer Achu

Ambe Tangyie and Jennifer Achu got married October 31, 2009 at Kessler Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. Ambe is a handsome groom, and together with Jennifer, is a photogenic couple. They had many family and friends at their colorful wedding in the African tradition.

The wedding featured a band and vocalist friend of theirs along with many bridesmaids and groomsmen. Before the ceremony, I asked Ambe to introduce me to his groomsmen and tell me something about them. He had a pleasant story about everyone. We had one camera in the balcony and one in the front choir loft. When it came time for the vows, the minister held up a small note card hidden from the audience so they could say their vows on their own. Of course, only we could tell that was happening. How nice it turned out.

After the ceremony there were formal photos to be taken in front of the church. This was organized. The maid of honor stood at the pulpit. The reception followed at Salon Las Americas Ballroom.
The wedding was at the Kessler Park United Methodist Church in Dallas and the reception was at the Salon Las Americas Ballroom. This was an African style wedding, with guests from Nigeria and Cameroon.
